Distraction or immediate gratification is a common problem faced by everyone across all age groups during their work. Everyone get distracted from long term goal by more enjoyable short term pleasure

🔹 It's too easy to watch one more episode of Tarak Mehta or watch 3 over of batting while promising yourself that you can practice on the ground afterwards.
🔹 Maximum students including adults intend to spend few minutes on social media while studying for exam, but you end up browsing how Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi was troll on Twitter, commenting on four status on Facebook or watch 2 video on YouTube. 
🔹 Desire to sleep instead of exercise or studying
 *In short...* You can't do big things if you are distracted by small things

In above examples, students were aware of working hard immediately but still wasted time on TV or social media
🔹 Everyone want happiness at any cost
🔹 Also happiness without any delay
🔹. It's a natural human urge to have happiness or pleasurable things immediately in spite of knowing long term harm. *It is because of the subconscious brain.*

❇️Brain has two parts... 
🔹 Conscious brain which act through out our working hour 
🔹 subconscious brain which acts even when we are sleeping. Your subconscious mind is controlling all aspects of body including your breathing and circulation

🔹 Whatever we think or do daily in a daily life, it is because of conscious brain.
🔹 If you keep on thinking in the same way, it becomes part of life and it is stored in the subconscious brain. That's why some people have hard core religious beliefs.
🔹 If you keep on behaving similar way like brushing teeth in the morning, it became part of life and stored in subconscious brain
🔹 It means our subconscious brain is like a huge memory bank. It stores your beliefs, your previous experience, your memories in fact everything that you have seen, done or thought. 
🔹 The function of subconscious brain is to store and retrieve data exactly the way you are programmed
 *In short...* The subconscious mind is guiding force for entire life

🔹 Which part of the brain makes logical or critical decisions?

🔹Our subconscious brain is trained for happiness in the early part of life.
Example: If you got into the habit of sleeping till 7am and suddenly you decided to wake up at 5am for practicing running (Marathon competition after 6 month), your subconscious brain will oppose waking up early as it is trained to wake up at 7am.
🔹 In short, all our habits of thinking and acting are stored in the subconscious mind. It has memorized all your comfort zones and it works to keep you in them. Your subconscious mind causes you to feel emotionally and physically uncomfortable whenever you attempt to do anything new or different or to change any of your established pattern of behavior. 
🔹 You can feel your subconscious brain pulling you back towards your old pattern of course comfort zone each time you try something new. That's why old habits can be so hard to break.

Lord Gautam Buddha taught, " Your karma does not depend not only on action, but also on your thoughts ." If you focus on positive or negative thoughts, the universe through the law of attraction will respond enthusiastically to both, without thinking which one is better for you. 
As we know our subconscious mind is developing due to thought processes, we can use this as a tool to develop subconscious mind as per your wish.
